Spectator Parking

Spectator Parking will have three paid lots on campus. Premium Parking is available at the Palm Avenue Parking Lot in front of the school.

Budget Parking is available at the Montgomery Adult School on Beyer Way, and in the Solar Parking Lot off of Palm Avenue.

Free Parking is available in the neighborhoods surrounding the school, at Montgomery-Waller Park (across Palm Avenue), and at Montgomery Middle School (approximate 10-15 minute walk south) on Picador Blvd.

Heat Advisory Adjustments:

1). Water fountains & bottle filling stations are available at the stadium restrooms and outside the cafeteria (near Warm up area #1). We will have extra water bottles on hand. Please consider bringing additional waters for your students.

2) CSBC has authorized the use of alternative uniforms for this week’s performances. Please consider those options. Student safety is highest priority. I know at least one school has already informed me they will not be performing in uniforms.

3) With the exception of Warmup Area 3, most of the campus has ample shade. Please consider limiting the time spent in full sun. If your group is assigned Warm up Area 3, we can relocate you to another location on campus between buildings to provide shade. This will primarily affect our earlier groups who will be warming up prior to sunset (6:30pm). 

4) Color guard warmup will have the option of warming up in the Original Gym. While it does not have A/C, it is equipped with large fans for moving the air and allows for indoor space.

5) When transitioning from one spot to another, please utilize the shade from the buildings when waiting with students. Before entry onto the field, the bleachers will provide shade as you wait for the previous group to finish performing. 

6) Our New Gym (located by the check-in table) will be available as a cooling station. We will be able to utilize the Southside bleachers as an indoor air-conditioned facility for groups as needed. Access to the gym floor and other parts of this facility is not restricted. Students must be supervised by a teacher when utilizing this space. Please do not leave students unattended in this space. 

7) We will have cooling towels on hand if needed for individuals experiencing overheating symptoms. These will be available through our First Aid table at the Band Check in. 

On a separate side note - please be aware that the road in front of Montgomery High School (Palm Avenue) just went under construction. They have already finished the portion in front of the school so it should be fully open in time for the tournament. However, please allow for additional arrival time due to the congestion/construction.
